The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is the only series owned and operated by NASCAR to race modified production trucks. The series is one of three national divisions of NASCAR. Austin Wayne Self made their NCWTS debut at Daytona International Speedway February 2016 in addition to adding Rookie driver Justin Fontaine to the team for the partial NCWTS 2017 season. NCWTS has been a crucial turning point for young drivers breaking into NASCAR. This year the series will hold 23 total race events and will feature the new Chase Points System.
